Conference Weekend

Okay- so my posts are WAY out of order...I am definitely trying to make up for lost time!! We had wanted to get up to Utah to see little Spencer Brimley (Steph & Spence's new addition)- and had been putting it off for months. So, when we heard that Grandma and Grandpa Clegg would be in Utah for conference- we thought it was a great excuse to combine the visit. And it definitely made me miss the Brimleys a WHOLE lot. It's so easy to take advantage of people living close to you...but it's not till there's a bit of distance that you realize just how much you loved having them near. But now we have someone to visit (especially when the heat gets unbearable!!). Here are some pics from our trip (of course I forgot our camera when we went up to the Brimley's!!)

Trying to entertain the kids while waiting for my parents at conference. Thank goodness for empty strollers and warm blankets (who knew it could be so cold in April in Utah). It was wonderful being on the temple grounds and being able to talk with Tyler about what was happening. He was so fascinated to see so many people there- all coming to listen to the words of our prophet and leaders!! It's so fun how much he's beginning to learn and understand!!
